Tony Giovannini- Percussion, Music Theory, Communication, Public Speaking, sound design/engineering

A lifelong De Pere resident, he earned Bachelor of Music(Education) & MBA degrees from St. Norbert College. Tony started playing drums at the age of 8 and has not stopped since.  He is well known as a percussionist for several of the most recognized musical groups in Green Bay and throughout the country.   Tony is also well versed in sound reinforcement/engineering and technical theatre having over 50 theatre music shows to his credit. For Percussion, Tony’s uses a well-rounded approach to the instrument to help develop the tools to play effectively while also having fun!. I will strive to provide students with the skills and ability to perform many different genres of music. He looks forward to working with you or your child!  Availability M,T,W, Th, F from 3PM-8PM.


John Kelley- Violin, Music Theory

Mr. Kelley is an accomplished violinist and teacher.  He has extensive experience teaching both group and individual violin lessons for all skill levels from beginning to advanced students.  John has played with various symphony orchestras and is a past director for the Green Bay Symphony.  Currently John is the creator and violinist of the renowned John Kelley Fusion Express Orchestra.  He is a technician and a showman, and he hopes to bring his passion for music and the arts to you or your child!  Availability M, T, W, Th, F from 11AM-8PM


April Strom-Johnson- Public Speaking, Life Skills, Audition Prep, Acting, Vocal Performance

April has been teaching for a number of years in Green Bay. She has a regular following of students in her studio, so you may not be able to choose her as your teacher this semester. But every semester one or two spots open up. April is popular with students and parents because of her passion for teaching, her love for live, and her amazing ability to build her students up to being some of the most humble and prepared young adults in our community. Beth Schultz-  Piano, Flute, Speech and Language

Beth has a Masters Degree in speech and language therapy from the University of WI-Eau Claire. She holds a current DPI license in speech pathology ages 3-21 and has worked with students in several school districts around NE WI for the past 26 years. Beth also recently went back and converted her minor in music to a Bachelor's Degree with an emphasis on piano and flute. Beth works with several schools and teaches piano for  the Oneida Nation Schools. She is excited to work with students at Studio 12! 


Sarah Hibbard-  Musical Theatre, Vocal Performance, Audition Prep, Academic Tutoring, ACT Prep

Sarah Hibbard is a professional music and theatre veteran performer in Wisconsin. She studied musical theatre and voice at Edgewood College and St. Norbert College where she earned her bachelor's degree. While at St. Norbert, Sarah performed as a principle for Knights on Broadway, The Abbey Singers, and Knight Theatre. Sarah is a cast member of Let Me Be Frank productions at the Meyer Theatre in Green Bay, and also performs with Project Pink - the WAMI Award winning Pink Floyd tribute band, Allouez Village Band, St. Norbert College Summer Stage (Mary Poppins in Mary Poppins), and individually at weddings and special events. Sarah loves working with beginner and intermediate singers. She also specializes in ACT prep, where her students have a 7 point average increase. She is excited to share her considerable talents and abilities with new students! Available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. My studio is always open and accepting new students. Thank you! 

Antonio Salerno- Guitar

Antonio is an accomplished recording artist and musician in the Green Bay Area.  He has performed and studied with some of the most profoundly talented musicians specializing in Brazilian style music.  Antonio comes from a long family history of excellent professional musicians so his history and learning has been lifelong.  Antonio will teach any age, but is especially interested in working with younger students, age 7-20.  He has a patient and positive approach to beginners and advanced guitar techniques!  Antonio is accepting new students this semester!  Availability:  Saturday 9am-3PM


Ben Olejniczak- College Prep, Advanced Vocal Technique, Vocal Performance, Foreign Language, Rock Technique

Ben is a current student at Boston Conservatory where hewill earn his Master of Music Degree in vocal pedagogy, with an emphasis on Rock singing technique, and vocal health. This being said, he has advanced training and experience in all genres, including classical, art song, opera and musical theatre.   He has performed with several prominent bands and ensemble groups as well as on the theatre stage in Opera & Music Theatre. Ben is the co-artistic director of Studio 12.  Currently he teaches at the studio via Skype, but he will be teaching in the studio full time beginning in June.  He looks forward to working with you or your child!   Availability M 3:30-9:00PM, Thursday: 9:00AM -  9:00PM, Friday 3:00PM-9:00PM.


Kaara McHugh-  College Prep, Advanced Vocal Technique, Vocal Performance, Foreign Language, Art Song, Music Theatre, Classical, Opera Technique.

Kaara recently completed her MM in Vocal Pedagogy at the Boston Conservatory. Kaara is a triple threat and has performed with multiple professional and amateur theatres throughout New England. Kaara has sung in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, and France. This past March, she was the soprano soloist for the Beethoven Mass in C at the Weidner Center with the Dudley Birder Chorale. She primarily sings classical art song, choral masterworks, and musical theater. She is known for her industry-standard mixed belt and helping young sopranos cultivate theirs. Kaara's students regularly receive auditions and/or acceptances to UW Stevens Point and Roosevelt University. In addition to singing, Kaara has taught music for grades K-12 for 3 years in MA and music directed children’s shows at Theater at the Mount since 2010. She is currently music directing and choreographing for the Sound of Music with Calvary Players. Kaara manages the social media and marketing for Studio 12 in addition to teaching voice. Tim Olejniczak- Vocal Performance, lighting and sound technique, theatre management

Tim is the founder of Studio 12 in Green Bay.  He developed the space and coordinated the initial curriculum and design of the studio, including the implementation of advanced technologies never before implemented outside of the university environment.  Tim has 30+ years of experience performing on all of the major stages in the region with some of the most significant musicians, directors and conductors of our generation.  He is ready lend his experience to new students looking to expand or just learn a more comprehensive approach to their existing audition/performance repertoire.   M, T, Th, F 3:30P-8:00P, W 3:30-6:00PM


Emily Paulsen- Vocal Performance, Music Theater, Technical Theatre, acting.

Emily is a UWGB graduate with a degree in vocal performance.She is a veteran of the largest stages in the Midwest, as a principle with the Pink Floyd Tribute band, Frank’s Dinner Theatre, and other professional and amateur theatres performing in our region.  She is a very knowledgeable voice instructor who is proficient at both vocal technique and performance.  Her students are often the envy of the recital hall and local stages because they learn to be confident and capable performers with passion for music that is next level.  Emily typically has a very full studio each semester, but there are occasionally openings, so do not hesitate to request her as your instructor.  Availability T, W, Th 10:30AM to 2:00PM.  


Teresa Sergott – Theater, communications, public speaking, audition prep

Teresa is  a firm believer that lessons learned in the theatre are relevant and valuable to everyone.  She provides high level instruction to students who are looking to define their own voice, whether as a performer on a stage or as a presenter.  Teresa will mentor you to develop build confidence, credibility and character both on and off of the stage.  She is looking forward to working with new students at Studio 12 this year!  Availability Classes, only.


Mark Gottlieb- Piano, Composition, Music Theory

Mark specializes in a customized approach to piano and music theory that has been described as serious fun for the serious student.  His approach to teaching is in the style of conservatory training.  He believes music should be approached with a good nature but in a dedicated and goal-oriented manner so students can discover their potential. Mark is a renowned composer with ensembles and concertos being performed throughout the United States, Canada and Europe. 


Elaine Moss- Piano, Music Theory

Elaine Moss is currently the instructor of piano and is the staff accompanist at St. Norbert College. She has an extensive resume, studying with renowned instructors at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Wichita State University, The University of WI-Milwaukee and the Universite de Louis Pasteur in Strasbourg France.  She has had the pleasure of accompanying a myriad of professional and amateur performers as well as students at SNC.  Elaine is available to teach beginners through intermediate students  in our Studio 12 piano lab, as well as private lessons for all levels students.


Randi Fay- Songwriting, Composition, Vocal Performance

Randi‘s career as a Veterinarian ended in 2001 due toinjury.   She discovered her second calling as a songwriter and performer of innovative adult contemporary music crossing several genres.  She has been nominated as Wisconsin's Jazz Artist of the year four years in a row by the Wisconsin Area Music Industry, and she has earned nods in major worldwide competitions for songwriting.  She recently earned her Master’s certification from Berkley School of Music’s online extension program and she is looking forward to mentoring new students interested in finding their voice, both as a performer and as a writer. 

Carolyn Silverberg- Acting, Shakespeare

Carolyn earned her MA in Shakespeare from Royal Holloway University of London and her BA in Theatre Studies from St. Norbert College. She is a frequent director for Evergreen Young Actors, performer and publicity manager for Play-by-Play Theatre, and most recently directed Green Bay's very first Theatre in the Park production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. Carolyn is ready to help you brush up your Shakespeare and love the Bard as much as she does! Join the Shakespeare workshop this fall, 6-7pm every Wednesday starting 10/2 (10 week session).

Arthur Smeall- Cello

Born and raised in Green Bay, Wisconsin, Arthur Smeall has been playing music all of his life. He started playing cello at age five and picked up upright bass at age twelve. Arthur is an alumnus of Berklee College of Music in Boston where he graduated in the class of 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Professional Music. While at Berklee, Arthur studied cello under Eugene Friesen of the grammy-award winning Paul Winter Consort, and Mike Block of Yo-Yo Ma’s Silk Road Ensemble. After graduating from Berklee, Arthur moved to Los Angeles, California where he lived for two years. During his time in Los Angeles, he did work as a freelance session musician, played electric bass in a rock band called Cinema Patrol, and sang in the bass section of the Angel City Chorale. In 2019, Arthur returned to Green Bay, Wisconsin because of a need to bring his experiences back to his hometown. Since returning to Green Bay, Arthur started a rock band called AAC, for which he is the guitarist, frontman, and principal songwriter. He continues to compose music, play cello and bass and find his way around the growing Northeast Wisconsin music scene.
